Important updates from the Early Years SEND Team

New Early Years pages on the SEND Framework are now available.

These pages replace the previous Guidance and Procedures page, as well as the Early Years SEND toolkit for EY providers. For assistance locating information, please contact the SENDCo Helpdesk

Two new tools include:

• Early Years SEND Indicators Tool – this strengths-based tool, replaces the former EY SEN Guidance doc and descriptors.
• Early Years Identification and Implementation Flowchart – provides updated guidance for early identification and implementation of the graduated response.

All Early Years SEND training opportunities for this academic year can now be booked on Education Services.

Further updates will be provided throughout the year
