- References - writing or receiving
- Absence/attendance queries or new cases, including reasonable adjustments (unless complex)
- Family-friendly queries
- Recruitment queries
- Organisational change – restructures and TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment)) *
- Pay (professional advice)
- Retirement – phased and ill health
- Service level agreement enquiries
- Supply teachers and agency workers
- Terms and conditions of employment and contractual changes
- Understanding how to apply policy
- Resignations
- End of contracts
- Fixed-term contracts and temporary contracts
- Appraisals
- Initial performance concerns (unless significant)
- Pre-employment checks or concerns with checks
Please note: Restructures and TUPE arrangements may need to be booked in with the EPS team due to the time required to review and discuss the details.
Urgent, critical or complex queries
Call on 02380 383500 during business hours to discuss:
- Potential misconduct/gross misconduct concerns
- Capability (including transition from informal to formal stages)
- Safeguarding/allegations against staff
- Resolving workplace issues (grievances)
- Whistleblowing
- Bullying and harassment
- Discrimination
- Any risk of underpayment
- Complex absences
- Significant professional resilience concerns
- Significant performance concerns
Any other urgent, complex or critical questions.
Training sessions
The EPS team offer a range of on-line training courses which are available to Oxfordshire schools. The list of courses is updated throughout the year.
