Support for writing your Inclusion Strategy. Free training to self-evaluate and create a development plan and Inclusion Strategy.
OXSIT is offering a series of free training sessions to support schools in self-evaluating their inclusive provision, developing an Inclusion Strategy and creating a school development plan. The programme is built around the new Inclusion self-evaluation on Evaluate My School, helping schools take an evidence-informed approach to inclusion.
The programme includes:
- Session 1: Inclusion information session for school leaders, covering the latest DfE developments around inclusion and new Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) guidance.
- Session 2: Getting started with your Inclusion Evaluation, including guidance on effective self-evaluation and using the Evaluate My School platform.
- Session 3: Identifying key themes from your evaluation and creating a development plan.
- Session 4: Writing your Inclusion Strategy (face-to-face sessions at locations across Oxfordshire).
- Session 5: Sharing best practice and reviewing the quality of your Inclusion Strategy.
- Session 6: Reviewing the effectiveness and impact of your Inclusion Strategy using Evaluate My School to measure progress and set new outcomes for the year ahead.
Schools attending the formal training sessions can also book free 1:1 support appointments in September and December, with additional sessions planned following Session 6.
All sessions are free and can be booked through the Education Services training page.
The Inclusion self-evaluation can be accessed via Evaluate My School.
