Stronger security is now in place
How you log in to the IBC portal and Employee Self Service (ESS) (on personal devices) has changed.
As part of security enhancements, when you access the IBC portal or ESS (on your personal device) you need to set up an extra verification method.
If you haven't done so already, the next time you log in you will need to reset your account for this extra level of security.
You can choose your preferred verification method:
- Your work email
- Your personal email
or
- An authentication app (like Microsoft authenticator).
If you choose an authentication app, you’ll need to download it to your personal device (phone, laptop etc.), scan a QR code and enter the one‑time passcode (OTP) it generates directly into the ESS log‑in/registration screen.
Help and support
Following the guidance on the webpages below, you don’t need to be logged into IBC or ESS to access them.
During working hours, the webchat function is there to help if you have any questions and you can get help with IBC and ESS access.
