RISE Universal South East Digital Partnership
The RISE Universal SE Digital Partnership is an evidence-based regional model built on the multi‑award‑winning “Portsmouth: The Digital City” project, implemented successfully across all 61 city schools. It also draws on lessons learned through DfE‑funded outreach in Walsall and Sandwell, providing a scalable blueprint to support schools nationally in tackling the digital divide.
The partnership focuses on three strands:
- Technology for Children
- Technology for Adults
- Technology for All
Core outcomes include:
- Raising standards in Maths and English
- Reducing teacher workload
- Fostering inclusion through effective and accessible use of technology
The programme has received external recognition including:
- Pearson Silver Award for Transformational Use of Digital Technology
- Certificate of Excellence for Inclusion
It is shaped collaboratively with strategic partners such as Google for Education, Canopy for Education, Canva for Education, and Crick Software.
