Pizza and politics events in Witney and Wallingford
Pizza and Politics – Witney and Wallingford Events
We are running two more Pizza and Politics sessions in Witney and Wallingford as part of our Future Generations programme of activities for young people (aged 11–18) in Oxfordshire.
These are great opportunities for young people to:
- Learn about democratic processes, representation and how local politics works
- Understand what the county council’s role is
- Think about their role in the community, representation and voting
- Discuss what they think about their life in Oxfordshire and how it could be better for future generations of young people
- Meet and chat to politicians and senior decision makers from the county council and hear about their experiences
- Be part of a Q&A session with decision makers
- Meet new friends and have democracy and citizenship conversations
What’s Included
As a thank you, we will give young people £15, cover any travel expenses, and provide a certificate.
The session will be run by council staff (who are DBS checked).
Pizza, snacks and refreshments will be provided.
