The buyback window is now open for schools to engage with the Oxfordshire School Inclusion Team (OXSIT) offer for 2026/27.

Schools are encouraged to:

• discuss their requirements as a leadership team, and
• sign up for OXSIT support that best matches their needs for the coming academic year.

We offer a wide range of flexible support options, designed to respond to different school contexts and priorities.

OXSIT support packages

Foundation Package Plus
Our popular Foundation Package Plus includes two half‑day visits to be used flexibly across the year and has been a popular choice for many schools this academic year.

Consultancy packages
We also offer a full range of consultancy packages, ranging from 3 to 6 days, which can be used flexibly across the year to suit your school’s context and priorities.

How schools have used OXSIT support

This year, schools have used OXSIT support to:

• train teachers to be Inclusive by Design
• support subject leads to develop as middle leaders of SEND
• develop systems to track the impact of provision
• train TAs in effective practice and specific needs
• complete learning walks focused on aspects of inclusive teaching and learning
• run SEND surgeries for teachers
• support SENDCOs new to role or new to school
