Oxfordshire Out Loud! Wellcomm is expanding

Join the expansion of the Oxfordshire Out Loud Programme and help children aged 5 + thrive through early language and communication support Building on the WellComm pilot with 40 schools in 2025, Oxfordshire County Council is inviting 60 additional primary schools to join the programme from September 2026.

The offer includes extra SALT and C&I support in schools to coach, support and train staff. This sits within the new ‘Experts at Hand’ offer under the 2026 SEND reforms.

What schools will receive:

Free Access to the WellComm digital tool initially for 1 year
Training for staff via the new Experts At Hands teams – via 5 cluster locations County Wide
Onsite support from Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) and Communication & Interaction (C&I) teams
Hands-on coaching in screening and intervention delivery
Ongoing advice, support and practice development
50% off picture books if required
