Oxfordshire Museum Creative Writing and Art Competitions
We are delighted to share two fantastic opportunities designed to inspire creativity, self-expression and confidence in our children and young people across Oxfordshire.
Creative Writing Competition (Ages 7–11)
This competition invites pupils to explore their imagination through storytelling, poetry or any form of creative writing they enjoy. It’s a wonderful way to develop literacy skills, encourage independent thought and celebrate the voices of our younger learners.
Art Competition (Ages 11+)
Aimed at older pupils, this competition encourages creative exploration through visual art. Whether drawing, painting, mixed media or digital work, young people can express their ideas and perspectives in a format that suits them best.
Both competitions provide meaningful opportunities for children and young people to develop their creative talents, and we would love to see as many Oxfordshire pupils as possible take part.
Full details, themes and submission information can be found in the attachments included. Please do share widely, promote through school communications and encourage participation.
We look forward to celebrating the creativity of Oxfordshire’s children and young people!
