Governor Training Programme

The Autumn Term 2026 Training Programme brings together the training available for governors this term. 

It is designed to support new governors, chairs, lead governors and governing boards in fulfilling their core functions: 

• Clarifying vision, ethos and strategic direction
• Holding leaders to account
• Ensuring financial probity. 

Sessions also support boards with key compliance, safeguarding, health and safety, inclusion, finance, wellbeing and inspection-related responsibilities.
