The Gallery Trust - Special School Outreach free SEND Clinics

The SEND Clinics offer a rich programme of themed sessions designed to support professionals in making meaningful, impactful change in their schools.

Clinics are led by experienced practitioners from Oxfordshire’s special schools. To maximise impact and support strategic development, schools are encouraged, where possible, to attend with at least one member of the Senior Leadership Team, alongside other professionals.

Focus: Progress and discussion around developments since the SEND White Paper (March 2026)

  • Date: Thursday 7 May
  • Time: 3:30pm to 4:30pm

SEND Ready for September

  • Date: Monday 29 June 2026
  • Time: 3:30pm to 4:30pm
  • Format: Online

This clinic will include:

  • Thoughts and theories around using the school environment to reduce cognitive load for children
  • Practical ideas to influence school environment and classroom design ahead of September

In-person SEND Clinics

Engagement and Interactions for Everyone

Bardwell School (part of The Gallery Trust)

  • Date: Thursday 11 June
  • Time: 3:30pm to 4:30pm

This clinic will include:

  • Strategies and ideas for supporting children who communicate non‑verbally
  • A tour of the education area to see communication‑supportive strategies in classrooms

Maximising the Impact of Support Staff

Continuity in the Classroom
