Educational Psychology Training: What Difficult about Maths?

What’s difficult about maths: assessment and tailoring interventions If you have ever experienced uncertainty about how to help a pupil with maths difficulties then this course may be for you.

This course will give you an understanding of what lies behind maths difficulties with a focus on practical solutions to support children and young people. Based on emerging research, the course will equip teachers to identify the factors causing maths difficulties for a child or young person and then to tailor interventions to meet their needs.

The course is led by the Educational Psychology Service and involves one day of face-to-face training.

Suitable for Maths Leads/SENCos and TAs supporting Maths interventions
