Early expressions of interest for capital funding welcome from secondaries

Dear Secondary Schools 

You will be aware of DfE’s ambition to have an inclusion support base in every secondary school within the next three years as part of its SEND Reforms programme. 

Whilst no specific requirements have yet been published on what a support base should look like, we’re keen in Oxfordshire to help schools with their thinking and planning. We have some high needs capital funding which we have ringfenced to support schools with the development of bases. 

This funding could be used for physical adaptations to spaces and/or for equipment/technologies. The maximum available to any one school would be £75,000. 

If you would be interested in obtaining funding, please complete an early interest Expression Of Interest (EOI) form 

This will remain open until 24 July. 

Those who submit an EOI will be contacted in the autumn term to discuss further. 

Please be reassured that this is the first round of any request for EOIs – there will be future opportunities over the next three years.
