Get ready for this year’s challenge, running from Monday 16 March to Friday 27 March 2026. Join schools from across the UK and sign up to be part of the action. Big Walk and Wheel is in its 17th year, and 2026 marks the first time it’s being delivered by the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, formerly Sustrans. 

It’s a new name, but the same great challenge, inspiring thousands of pupils across the UK to walk, wheel, scoot or cycle to school.
