Admissions Consultation for 2028/29

Academies, free schools and voluntary aided schools can now consult on any changes they want to make to their admissions policies for 2028/29. 

Where establishments are making no changes to their policies, but have not consulted for 7 years, they will also need to have their policy available for consultation. 

Consultation documents must be available on your websites for a period of at least 6 weeks between 1 October 2026 and 31 January 2027. You will also need to send a copy of your consultation document to Oxfordshire County Council, using the email address: consultationforadmissions@oxfordshire.gov.uk and we will add the details to our consultation page. 

If we receive any feedback from the public or any other stakeholders, we will send this back to you. The deadline to determine admissions policies is 27 February 2027, and the deadline to publish them is 15 March 2027.
