18 Fully funded places for the Excellence in Reception Teaching Programme - Register your interest

The new Excellence in Reception Teaching programme is available for current Reception teachers and experienced teachers looking to move into Reception. Oxfordshire Teaching School Hub has been allocated 18 funded places as part of the National Professional Development offer. 

This short two-term course is a practical, evidence-based programme designed to deepen Reception-specific pedagogical knowledge and strengthen classroom practice. The programme runs across two school terms and requires a minimum of 20 hours to complete. It combines flexible self-study with live, facilitated sessions, which are accessed online to fit around school life. 

Participants will develop practical strategies to support children's learning and development and improve outcomes at this vital stage of education. 

Applications close on 25 September. 

Teachers are encouraged to register their interest and apply ahead of the deadline.
