Suicide Prevention and Postvention Response Training
The Suicide Prevention and Postvention Response Training (pdf, 288kb) training is designed for members of secondary school Senior Leadership Teams or staff with a lead role in student wellbeing. It is particularly relevant for those involved in policy development, guidance, and systems within schools.
The session will support schools in planning for a mentally healthy environment to help prevent suicides, and to feel prepared to respond appropriately if a suicide occurs within the school community.
We recommend that two members of staff from each school attend, if possible.
