The Oxfordshire Virtual School’s 2025–2026 training programme is here to support you.
We offer free Designated Teacher (DT) training and a wide range of sessions for school staff working with children we care for, previously cared for children, children with a social worker and those in kinship care.
Themes include:
- PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy)
- Attachment Theory
- Brain Development and Trauma
- De-escalation and Sensory Inputs
- Transitions
- Working with Adoptive and Special Guardian Families
These sessions are practical, evidence-informed and designed to help you support children’s emotional wellbeing and educational success.
