Introduction of Section 19 Consideration Panel

The Local Authority is introducing a Section 19 Consideration Panel to ensure fair and consistent decisions for children unable to attend school due to illness or other circumstances. The panel will include representatives from schools and various council teams, meeting fortnightly to review cases. 

Schools are invited to nominate senior leaders to join a rota of panel members.
