The BBO Maths Hub offers a range of fully funded professional development programmes for primary, secondary, and post-16 maths teachers in 2025–2026. Primary schools can join Teaching for Mastery Work Groups to build collaborative learning cultures and improve pupil outcomes, with headteacher involvement and support from Mastery Specialists. There are also specialist knowledge programmes for early career and experienced primary teachers, focusing on subject knowledge and pedagogy.
For secondary schools, opportunities include Work Groups for non-specialist teachers (with an EEF trial), support for overseas-trained teachers, and targeted projects such as Securing Foundations at Year 7 and Developing Fluency with Multiplicative Reasoning at KS3. Post-16 teachers can join a Work Group to deepen A level pedagogy and support departmental change.
All programmes are designed to foster collaboration, share best practice, and strengthen leadership.
