ACE Centre Nursery School Informal Consultation

The ACE Centre Nursery School, located in Chipping Norton, is one of seven maintained nursery schools across Oxfordshire. There are currently 23 children on roll.

Based on current pupil numbers and the long-term viability of the nursery, Oxfordshire County Council is exploring whether The ACE Centre Nursery School should be closed.

Purpose of the Consultation

This consultation aims to gather information that would be necessary if a formal closure proposal is made. This includes:

• Whether there are viable alternatives to closure.
• Whether closure would support or harm educational standards in the area.
• How pupils would be accommodated if the nursery school closes.
• The impact closure would have on the local community and how any adverse effects could be mitigated.
