Free, interactive, livestreamed science shows for KS1 and KS2

Join the Science Oxford team on Tuesday 10 December for our new, exciting Winter Livestream show on the Science of Invisibility.

It's free to attend online! With exciting demonstrations and fun facts, we'll explore the science of invisibility from how animals blend into their surroundings to how humans use technology to make things disappear in real life.

We’ll uncover the secrets behind being “invisible”. You won’t believe your eyes! Two shows, each tailored for children in Key Stages 1 and 2, will be broadcast live from the Science Oxford Centre.

Children will have the opportunity to interact by asking and answering questions via their teachers and educators on a live chat at regular intervals during the shows.

  • Date: 10 December 2024
  • Times: 11:00 - 11:30am for Key Stage 1, or 1:30 - 2:00pm for Key Stage 2

We’d love you to join us!

To help us plan, let us know which show(s) you would like to join. If you do, we will be able to give your pupils a shout-out during the live show and send you a teacher information pack before we broadcast. Find out more and register your interest here.
