Special School Outreach SEND Clinics

Mulberry Bush 

Location: Standlake, Witney

SEND Clinic theme: Outreach Open Evening  

Friday 9 May:  3.15pm - 5.15pm

The visit consists of the following:

  • Gaining an understanding of what the Mulberry Bush do and who we support
  • A tour of the education area, thinking specifically about the impact of the environment on the engagement of the children we work with.
  • An over-view of the curriculum we deliver, academically, socially and emotionally
  • An insight into the assessment tools we use
  • Key take aways for mainstream schools to consider within their settings

The Propeller Trust

  • SEND Clinic theme: Outreach Open Evening
  • Wednesday 14 May: 3.45pm – 5.00pm

Agenda: 

  • Welcome introductions and refreshments
  • The opportunity to gain an understanding of what Kingfisher School does and who we support, including how we group our pupils in order to maximise their access to learning
  • A tour of the school, thinking specifically about the impact of the environment on the engagement of the children we work with.
  • An opportunity to find out more about some of the strategies and tools we use to support pupils’ communication and behaviour
  • An opportunity to chat to our specialist teachers about how those tools might be adapted for use within your mainstream settings

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come-first served basis.
