Smokefree Oxon Launches: Supporting Staff and Students to Quit Together

We are very pleased to announce that from 1 July 2025, Solutions4Health will be the new provider for the smoking cessation support service in Oxfordshire. The service, named ‘Smokefree Oxon’, will collaborate closely with partners across the county.

From the 1 July the contact details for Solutions4Health will be:

The service will be open to all Residents who live or work in Oxfordshire.

Teachers and school staff, 18+ years old, who live or work in Oxon who wish to quit smoking will have access to behavioural support and a wide range of treatments including vape kits, Nicotine Replacement therapy and medications.

For anyone who is 13 – 17 years old who smokes a tobacco product and who wishes to quit there is an offer of behavioural support and a wide range of NRT all suitable for CYP. This includes all young people who go to school, college or university in Oxfordshire.

The service will also be delivering very brief advice training opportunities to staff, teachers, pastoral teams and School health Nurses who wish to know more about supporting colleagues and CYP to quit smoking. Please contact them directly for FREE sessions to suit you.

If prevention of smoking and vaping is a school concern, please consider the INTENT programme – part of the PSHE curriculum so nothing additional! This programme is free for all state secondary schools in Oxon to use and so far 18 schools are already trained and taking part.
