Service Pupil School Support Group

Are you a headteacher or School Service Pupil Champion with a passion for supporting service pupils and their families? We need YOU to be a part of a network of school professionals committed to improving outcomes for Service Pupils in Oxfordshire. We have a wealth of experience in our schools within the county and we want to strengthen this and ensure that practice is sustained by creating a network to support schools across the county.

What it involves:

  • A collaborative, peer-support group of like-minded professionals that meet once a half term to discuss opportunities and give solutions to challenges
  • Positive guidance and advice on how to best support Service Pupils, including addressing unique challenges they may face
  • Access to resources, training, and best practices to enhance the educational experience of Service children
  • Opportunities for professional development and networking through conferences and briefings
  • A chance to be part of linking in with national networks (SCISS and SCiP) helping to shape policy and practice for Service children

How to Join: Simply get in touch by completing the Service Pupil Network interest form and we’ll be in touch to share more information as we get this group established.

Together, we can support schools in making sure Service children receive the support and opportunities they deserve to thrive in school and beyond. Thank you, in advance, for your interest
