KS2 Moderation Evaluation

The 2025 Key Stage 2 moderation process in Oxfordshire, delivered by Juniper Education for the ninth consecutive year, involved 63 schools—29 local authority schools and 34 academies or free schools. 

Moderation visits were conducted professionally and efficiently, with clear guidance and structured documentation. Feedback from headteachers and moderators was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the value of the process, the clarity of standards, and the effectiveness of training and support. Writing judgements were largely consistent, with only minor adjustments made. The moderation team is commended for their dedication and professionalism throughout the cycle.
