Important Update: Transition from GovernorHub

Dear Colleagues,

We are writing to let you know that after significant research, we will be transitioning away from GovernorHub to a new governance management system for our governor database over the coming months.

We appreciate that many users have become familiar with GovernorHub and value its features so this change may not be welcome news. Please be reassured that this decision has been made with very careful consideration of your needs, and we see it as a positive step forward for governance in Oxfordshire.

As we communicated in December when we sent out our survey, substantial price increases led us to explore alternative solutions to GovenrnorHub. We are pleased to announce that we have identified a strong replacement platform. This platform will allow us to continue offering a governance management platform at significantly reduced or no cost to maintained schools and those within our Clerking Service, avoiding the need to request even higher contributions from schools next year. Additionally this new system will also provide us with more flexibility of our offering and improve efficiency of our processes.

We are committed to supporting you through this transition. Training and support will be available for both governors and governance professionals (clerks) before and after the new system goes live.

  • End of the academic year (July 2026) – OCC’s use of GovernorHub will be fully withdrawn

Thank you, as always, for your dedication and the vital role you play in supporting children in Oxfordshire schools. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

Best wishes,
