Fraud Alert

The Counter Fraud Team have been made aware of attempts in other Local authority areas to set up fraudulent standing orders from school bank accounts. 

Actions: 

Please check your bank accounts in order to identify any fraudulent standing orders and ensure no unauthorised payments have left the account. 

Please ensure robust bank reconciliation processes are in place.
