Beat the Heat

When temperatures soar, schools can start to get very uncomfortable for staff and students. This isn’t only unpleasant, but it can also disrupt learning and impact wellbeing.

But cranking up the air conditioning isn't the only answer, and often isn't an option in UK schools anyway.

ACES has put together some practical, low-carbon strategies to help your classrooms beat the heat.

How ACES can help

Action on Carbon and Energy in Schools (ACES) can help your school keep cool in summer and warm in the winter by helping your school improve it’s energy efficiency.

We have a small number of energy assessments and energy support available to county-maintained schools. Secure yours before the end of term by filling in this form- Free energy assessment - ACES  or contact us at info@ace-schools.org to discuss your needs.
