Sessions about teaching in the early years and statutory early years assessments
If you are an ECT or a teacher new to working in the early years, then this training is for you. It is also suitable for teachers who are returning to teaching in the EYFS.
We will be hosting this training both virtually and face to face, and we look forward to seeing you there. By the end of the training participants will be able to:
• Access statutory documents
• Know about statutory assessments in the early years • Have an understanding of what good practice and pedagogy in EYFS looks like
• Have had opportunities to discuss areas of EYFS practice
• Understand how to access EYFS training
• Know about the support of the Early Years Team
• Have met with other early years teachers new to working in the early years with opportunities to share practice and ideas
