SENDCO Networks
Does your school have a nursery class? If so book now for your place at the next Early Years SENDCO Network meetings. These are held three times a year (Autumn, Spring and Summer) and offer SENDCOs supporting Nursery aged children and below a chance to come along to hear local and national SEND updates relevant to supporting Early Years children with SEND.
Each term updates are given regarding local and national Early Years SEND initiatives, Early Years SEND training available and contain a particular SEND focus for sharing best practice. Networks are often supported by visiting professionals.
Attendees are welcome to bring along questions or request a future focus topic for the networks. We also have an ‘Ask the room’ slot giving you the opportunity to ask other SENDCOs whether they have, or have developed, or how they manage…etc.
• Capitalise on links with other Early Years SENDCOs
• Be updated in terms of new developments within Early Years SEND in Oxfordshire
• Reflect on and share good practice for early years SEND provision and consider areas to develop further.
