Notice to all maintained community and voluntary controlled schools and nurseries
All responsible premises managers for schools should now have access to Concerto and you will have been emailed separately with login details. If you have not received an email, do not have access to Concerto or have technical queries obtaining documents, please contact the FMservicedesk@oxfordshire.gov.uk and an operative will provide you with support.
It is important that any changes to known asbestos containing materials are notified to the FMservicedesk@oxfordshire.gov.uk so all relevant asbestos consultants and reporting documentation held within Concerto can be accurately updated. Examples of this are removals and repairs that have not been instructed directly from Hard Fm via the FM ServiceDesk i.e. Major/Minor works projects or self-managed works organised by the school.
Please note that the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are currently visiting schools to assess asbestos compliance, it is essential you have up to date information, and you are taking steps to address any recommendations or actions i.e. repair or removal etc. Please note in respect of asbestos remedial works these should be funded through school delegated budgets as detailed in the scheme of finance, for more information visit this page.
