Join Oxfordshire Libraries celebrating your pupils’ success with 2024 Summer Reading Challenge, Marvellous Makers

We ask you to encourage as many children as possible to continue reading, to finish the challenge and visit their local library to collect their rewards. 

The finishing date was the 7 September, but we continue to reward the children with their prizes, medals and certificates after this date, so your encouragement at school can make a real difference. Lots of schools ask the children to bring in their named certificates to show at school to further celebrate their successes and encourage a continued positive reading habit. 

We have had a busy summer in our libraries, with lots of children enjoying reading and taking part in 2024 Summer Reading Challenge, Marvellous Makers and from September welcome class visits into our libraries to support reading for pleasure and all the benefits it brings to the children.
