Holiday clubs are back for winter

We need your help! Please spread the word about the Holiday Activity and Food Programme (HAF) to ensure as many eligible children and young people as possible can take part the scheme.

If you work with community groups, schools and families please let them know. We go live at 09:00am on Friday 29 November!

What is the HAF Programme?

The HAF Programme is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and our team works alongside local providers to offer the holiday activity programmes.

To be eligible, a family must be in receipt of benefits-related free school meals. Eligible families can book activities online from November.

How to book activities?

Eligible families can book up to 4 days provision this Christmas school holiday, using our new booking system. Codes are not needed to book activities as eligibility is automatically checked by the booking system. If there is a vulnerable child that you feel could benefit from the HAF Programme but who is not in receipt of benefits-related free school meals, they can be referring by a professional who knows them by completing this form or contact the team via the email below.

All providers deliver to a quality standard which meets DfE guidelines, including providing hot, nutritious food, teaching children and families about nutrition and at least an hour of physical activity. More information is available on our website and you can contact the team on activitiesoxfordshire@oxfordshire.gov.uk
