Great Athletes wrap up 2024 in Oxfordshire

Great Athletes wrapped up the year with their last visit in Oxfordshire to cap off a fantastic and inspiring 2024. Great Athletes, a social enterprise that visits primary schools across the UK at no charge, visited 20 primary schools across Oxfordshire, with visits from athletes such as Invictus and Commonwealth Games competitor Nerys Pearce, Wheelchair Rugby gold medallist Kylie Grimes and GB Paralympic footballer Jack Rutter.

4,114 pupils were inspired across the year, and an incredible £23,313 was raised for new sports equipment. Great Athletes are already booked in to visit 4 schools in Oxfordshire next year, and with a simple mission to inspire every child, the beauty of these events are always at no cost to schools.
