Get training ready for the INTENT programme launch Sept 2024

Oxfordshire County Council are providing all Oxfordshire secondary schools with free access to a new smoking and vaping prevention programme INTENT - launching September 2024.

Not only will the new programme support schools and pupils with a clear prevention plan but smoking/vaping and risky behaviours have a strong link to safeguarding, as well as attendance and mental health.

Details of the programme were shared via direct emails to headteachers, briefing and an online session. If you have missed those, please see attached flyer for further details on the next information session in May and how to register staff for the short training sessions in May or June. This will allow your school time to be trained and registered ready to start delivering the programme in September 2024.
