EYFS Profile 2024 – Beyond Moderation

An opportunity to share good practice, discuss and quality assure judgements and learn all about the statutory assessment at the end of the EYFS. This is an interactive face to face session led by experienced EY Advisors and practising Reception Teachers. Topics covered are: 

  • The statutory requirements of the EYFS Profile 2024
  • Exploring the Literacy and PSED ELGs and identifying teaching and learning opportunities
  • Discussion in groups – activity NB Practitioners will need to come prepared to discuss at least 2 children in their current cohort. The discussion will focus on what the children will need in order for them to achieve the ELGs and barriers to learning. 

You are welcome to bring any evidence which you may have (for the 2 children) to aid your discussion and professional curiosity.
