Evaluate My School

Not stared your SEND self evaluation on Evaluate My School yet? Here are some top tips from SENDCOs who have completed theirs to get you started. - Diarise your completion date for when you will share it with others e.g. SEND Governor, Governor’s meeting, Inclusion Lead for MAT, staff meeting - Break it down: decide which section/s you want to prioritise and focus on those this term.

Perhaps consider an area you think is a strength and an area think needs more development - Book time in SLT meetings and staff meetings to discuss and complete appropriate sections e.g. identification and implementation for a staff meeting - For the statements think: Who is responsible for that? How well is that working? How do we know that (evidence)? What could make it even better?

Remember you don’t need to create anything to add as evidence - it should be things you already have in school. The process may highlight some gaps that you can make part of your action plan to create e.g. parent voice from SEND parents isn’t routinely captured - Focus on the discussion of the statements and what would evidence it – you don’t have to upload all your evidence documents now.

Use the prompt questions under each statement to develop your thinking - For areas you want to develop look at the links and materials provided to develop your understanding of what good practice looks like And finally, remember to log in using the Oxfordshire page: https://oxfordshire.evaluatemyschool.co.uk/ Not signed up yet?
