DBS Checks

From the beginning of October 2024, IBC (Shared Services) will be charging an administration fee of £11.27 for DBS checks. 

Oxfordshire County Council was informed by the IBC that they hadn’t been passing on this cost to schools when they should have been (as part of the agreement about how the IBC operates). 

There are no retrospective charges, but from now on school DBS checks will be subject to this administration fee. Schools don’t need to do anything, as this will be added to the DBS fee you already pay.
