Children Heard and Seen Model School Policy

As part of their campaign to create change for children impacted by parental imprisonment, the charity would like every school in the country to have an official policy in place on how to support children with a parent in prison.

This policy was created by Children Heard and Seen practitioners with teaching experience and lived experience of parental imprisonment. It was written in consultation with children and parents that they support, as well as head/teachers with lived experience of parental imprisonment.

This is the 1st edition of the policy, and it will be reviewed every 6 months.
