16-19 Migrant Career & Employability
The Migration Career and Employability Support Programme aims to supplement the guidance already provided in schools by providing additional targeted career guidance, skills development, and employability training to students from migrant families. Recognising the unique challenges these students often face, our programme offers tailored support, including:
- Career Guidance Workshops: Providing personalised advice to help students explore various career paths and understand the skills required for success.
- Employability Skills Training: Equipping students with essential skills such as CV writing, interview techniques, and workplace communication.
- Mentorship Opportunities: Connecting students with professionals from various industries who can offer guidance, inspiration, and networking opportunities.
- Work Experience Placements: Facilitating opportunities for students to gain practical experience in their fields of interest. The Need for Your Support We believe that your school plays a crucial role in shaping the futures of young people.
With your support, we can reach students who would benefit from this programme, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future careers. From recent conversations with school staff, we have identified that you currently have students on your school roll who meet the criteria to be eligible for this fully funded support.
Next Steps, we are keen to collaborate with your school and share a timetable for our programme delivery, with the hope that you will be able to encourage participation and authorise attendance at our workshops.
Our dedicated and highly experienced staff are looking forward to engaging with your migrant students from years 11-13, and supporting them further in understanding the pathways available to them. We can deliver our programme onsite at your school or within the local community. To be agreed with you.
