Sue Ryder South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub is hosting its annual Forget-Me-Not Memory Walk

Sue Ryder South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub is hosting its annual Forget-Me-Not Memory Walk on 8 September at Temple Island Meadows in Henley on Thames.

We are asking people to come and join us at the beautiful Temple Island Meadows and take part in our much loved annual event set against the stunning backdrop of the Thames and Temple Island. The Forget-Me-Not Memory Walk is for anyone who has lost a loved one and wants to walk in remembrance to celebrate those who are gone but not forgotten. The 5K route is suitable for children and families, whilst the 10k route is ideal for more confident walkers and families. Both routes take in the Thames Path and the surrounding meadows, parts of which are not normally accessible to the public. Unfortunately dogs cannot take part on this walk. Neither walk is suitable for pushchairs or wheel chairs due to some narrow stiles and gates. Refreshments and family fun await walkers on their return. We look forward to welcoming you!

Can you go that extra mile and ask family and friends to sponsor you - £60 could pay for one session of bereavement counselling for someone struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one. If you raise this amount we'll give you a free t shirt and a goody bag on the day.

Registration Fees Early Bird Adult £15 Child £5 Family £35 (2 adults 3 children) ends 31July
