The Eggbert books took almost five years to develop with the help of teachers, parents, literary experts and the children themselves.
Each story contains a moral which the children can take into later life and learn from, the books are ideal for classroom discussion and assembly time too. They are suitable for all young readers from 2 to 6 years of age, accompanied reading 2-4 years and independent reading 4-7 years. We have also tied them in with the national curriculum, Foundation Level and Key Stage 1 and 2.
Endorsed by Sir Cliff Richard, Jane Seymour, Jenny Agutter, Chris Tarrant, Colin Dexter and Robin Gibb (The Bee Gees). Prince William and Kate also appear on the website (https://eggbertsadventures.com/).
Sir Tim Brighouse former educational advisor to the government has also personally endorsed the books by saying "There is no doubt that the choice of language fits well with the national curriculum and with what we know about early readers. Having seen it's appeal to youngsters I have no doubt of the series appeal to a wide audience, the Eggbert’s Adventures books will prove invaluable in the classroom and in the home especially at bed time."
