If you’re interested in benchmarking the writing in your school anonymously with other schools in Oxfordshire then just possibly Adaptive Comparative Judgement (ACJ) is for you.  The benefits  using ACJ to assess writing in this way both summatively and formatively; the increased reliability, reduction in teacher workloads, improved teacher dialogue around assessment and pupil's improvement in their own writing are clear.  

Church Cowley St James Primary School is running a day course on Thursday 24th October 9:30 - 3pm looking at using ACJ formatively in schools to anonymously benchmark your pupils writing against others in Oxfordshire in order to support all schools and teachers to improve the quality of writing in all Oxfordshire schools.
