Transactional IBC Services

From 1 July 2015 the transactional IBC services will be delivered through our partnership with Hampshire County Council. It will provide an integrated solution through SAP and will deliver Employee Self Service, Hire to Retire (HR and Payroll), Finance & Procurement through a leading edge secure Portal.

The Transactional IBC services are only available as part of a fully integrated package including:

ICT Services - Web Email Support (Office 365)

The Schools’ ICT Support Team provides support for the Office 365 Web Email. The service is offered to both maintained schools and academies.

Subscription to the Office 365 Web Email Support Service offers all schools and academies access to a range of services to give schools the reassurance that their email system is being managed and maintained safely and securely. Schools will have peace of mind that there is someone to help with the administration of user accounts and when a problem occurs.

Health and Safety Conversion Package

This health and safety service package has been formulated and designed to assist schools to achieve a smooth transition to academy status.

The package content has been developed from:

  • Experiences of other schools who have already converted
  • Requirement to continually review and improve services
  • Expertise from the Health and Safety Team for Oxfordshire County Council
  • Academies Conversion Committee strategic plans

The package is specifically costed to cover actual expenditure to provide the package.

School Premises Services

Carillion is providing Property and Facilities Management solutions on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council over a ten year period which commenced 1st July 2012.

Carillion brings a vast amount of experience in building construction and management and complete property services. Capita has been appointed by Carillion to provide a wide-range of multi-disciplinary expertise. Together, Carillion and Capita, have formed One Team to ensure collective success for Oxfordshire County Council.

Design and Construction

The Design and Construction Team incorporates designers, project managers, engineers, construction managers, supply chain experts and safety professionals into a single delivery-focussed construction team. This promotes a coordinated approach to managing both the tactical and operational delivery of construction and maintenance work from initial brief through to final defects clearance.

Food & More is Oxfordshire’s leading provider of contract catering and support to the education sector preparing around 1400 freshly cooked, nutritious meals for Oxfordshire school  children each day.

ICT Services - Sophos Anti-Virus

Your current license for SOPHOS with Oxfordshire County Council runs out at the end of March.

It is important that you make alternative arrangements by 31 March 2017

The basic Sophos package is available from Phoenix through the South West Grid for Learning (SWGFL) @ £3.45 per device providing protection for 3 years; multiplied by the number of devices you need covering. By going direct to the supplier, provision can be made for additional features school by school. 

ICT Services - OCN Connection

The OCN is a private dedicated network that delivers secure broadband into schools.

Through access to the OCN, users can gain access to the Internet, to the National Education Network (NEN) and to the County Council’s Corporate and Schools Intranet.

The OCN is being decommissioned during 2013 and this service will only be available to maintained schools from 1st April 2013 till 31st December 2013.

Schools will need to arrange an alternative broadband supplier at some point during the period from April to December.
