Guidance on systems used in schools including password reset details and guidance notes.

Schools have access to a number of systems. For details on password resets and guidance notes please click on the links below:

RAISEonline

RAISEonline gives a common set of data that schools, Ofsted inspectors, School Improvement Partners & the Local Authority can access. Governors should also have access to this data through the Headteacher.

The OCC Performance & Information Team is unable to provide or reset passwords for RAISEonline.

RAISEonline can be accessed at: https://www.raiseonline.org. For the School Admin password resets click on “Forgotten your password?”. If you do not have the details required to complete the forgotten password form then email enquiries@ofsted.gov.uk and include:

  • Your job title
  • Name and full address of your school
  • Unique reference number (URN)
  • DfE number
  • Headteacher's email address with your email.

Secure Access

The Secure Access Portal allows registered users access to the Department for Education's systems which include:

  • S2S
  • COLLECT
  • Key to Success

Secure Access can be accessed at: https://sa.education.gov.uk/idp/Authn/UserPassword

The OCC Performance & Information Team is unable to provide or reset passwords for Secure Access.

As of December 2013 each school has one 'Approver' account for Secure Access. This account allows for the creation of other standard accounts within schools and academies. The Approver can add, edit, remove accounts and reset passwords for their school and can control access to s2s, KtS and COLLECT (where applicable).

COLLECT Access is no longer managed by the DfE's EDD Helpdesk, however should the Approver need a password reset they must use the “Forgotten Username or Password” link or complete the DfE's Secure Access Service Request form to gain access to the site. (https://www.education.gov.uk/researchandstatistics/datatdatam/secureaccess/service-request-form )

S2S

This system allows schools to securely transfer pupil level data to the LA and other schools.  S2S can be accessed via Secure Access at:  https://sa.education.gov.uk/idp/Authn/UserPassword

COLLECT

COLLECT is the DfE Centralised Data Collection and Management System for Education. Schools will use COLLECT to submit the Schools Census and School Workforce Census.  COLLECT can be access via Secure Access at: https://sa.education.gov.uk/idp/Authn/UserPassword

Key to Success

The Key to success website provides local authorities and schools with access to individual pupils' records from the National Pupil Database and a range of pupil assessment data. Key to success can be accessed by schools though Secure Access at: https://sa.education.gov.uk/idp/Authn/UserPassword

Key to Success basic user notes

NCA Tools

This website will be used throughout the national curriculum assessment cycle for all test administration. NCA Tools can be accessed at:  https://ncatools.education.gov.uk

The OCC Performance & Information Team is unable to provide or reset passwords for NCA Tools.

If you are experiencing problems accessing the site please contact the NCA helpdesk on 0300 303 3013 or email: assessments@education.gov.uk
