One-Eighty offers intensive intervention and prevention programmes for young people with complex needs and their families. They provide intensive one-to-one interventions for young people whose behaviour causes them to be at risk of exclusion from both school and mainstream society.
Primarily, One-Eighty is most effective working with young people whose challenging behaviour is linked to mental health needs (i.e. anxiety, attachment difficulty), past or ongoing issues in their home or community environment (i.e. victim of abuse, childhood trauma, LAC etc). One-Eighty ultimately looks to reengage young people with their learning, which includes mainstream school, special school and alternative provision. This means they accept young people on the edge of exclusion, school refusers, and those excluded.
They also offer group work provisions, training for school staff and clinical supervision for those working with young people with complex needs.
