Hill End

Hill End offers learners the opportunity to be closer to nature, with the space and time to explore and appreciate the wonders of the natural environment.

Hill End has delivered a variety of alternative and nurturing educational programmes in recent years to engage and encourage learners from many different backgrounds with the widest range of personal and learning needs.

These can offer learners experiences, skills, responsibilities and qualifications. Specific opportunities have included outdoor learning activities, horticulture, gardening, woodwork, construction, bicycle maintenance and micro enterprises. By focusing on developing character traits and positive attitudes and aptitudes, Hill End believe skills acquisition and academic engagement will improve, such that people can learn to thrive in the world around them.

Qualifications can be awarded to learners however these are bespoke and in relation to individual learning plans as appropriate
