Below you will find frequent questions that are answered about the annual buyback. We will continue to add more frequent questions as they come in.

Does the deadline for form submissions apply to academies?

Yes, the deadline for submissions applies to all schools

How long do subscriptions last?

Subscriptions last for 12 months following the academic year September to August

What happens if the deadline for submission passes or a form is not returned?

We will assume you wish to continue with the services you currently have and your school will be charged accordingly.

What happens to the subscription if my school converts to an academy during the year?

Unless specified on the form, all subscription options will continue to be available.

How do I cancel a subscription to a service?

Cancellations must be submitted to us in writing. These will be assessed on a case by case basis as most services plan and organise the resources to provide their services.

Are we able to subscribe to services after the deadline has passed?

You would need to contact us. If you have not returned a form to us it may be that your subscription has already been renewed, otherwise we would need to review this on a case by case basis.

I have submitted my form but wish to make some changes

You can do this by simply updating and sending us an updated version of your form before the deadline.

How do I view what services my school bought into for the previous year?

Usually your school would have retained a copy of the submitted buyback form. Otherwise please contact us and we can advise.

When I tick the subscription options, pricing does not appear.

Make sure you have enabled macros and entered all of your school details at the top of the form. Pricing is based off several factors such as type of school, status and staff numbers.

I am having problems with the form

Most issues can be resolved by checking

  • Enable Content – has this been enabled?
  • Establishment – have you selected your school?
  • Establishment Details – have you entered your school details in the relevant fields?
