Young people, drugs and social media – a survey for 13-18 year olds

Researchers from University College London are conducting a national survey looking at the experiences of teenagers using social media and how seeing drugs on these platforms might affect them. The hope is to ensure that young people can be kept safer around drugs both off and online. The survey takes 15 minutes to complete and asks students from 13 to 18 years old about their social media attitudes towards drug advertisements and reporting practices. The delivery of this survey in the classroom can be an opportunity to discuss RSE and PSHE themes linked to drugs and online safety.

The deadline to complete the survey is the 30th of April 2024.
